Eco-Friendly Activewear We Love

Eco-Friendly Activewear We Love

The point of the year where we have used up all our non-renewable resources has officially been reached. We’re actually about a week past it. The amount of resources for the whole year that the Earth can provide us, had been surpassed. We are using resources faster than the okay we call home was created to support us this is called Earth Overshoot Day. If you come across this article after 2020 (if we make it past 2020 ;) - we reach this day before the end of the year, every year - let’s hope it stops!).

We have passed Earth Week, Month, Day, and even Plastic Free July, which all ask us to take a second look at our using habits, our buying habits, and especially single use plastic.

With SO much more awareness out there and SO many more options of what to use around us, it is up to us. Yes spending power and accessibility has a lot to do with how we navigate our choices too. However, as with everything in life, there is so much that is out of our control, but no matter what background or community we belong to, there are ways that we can contribute to a more sustainable lifestyle, and at the least, make sure our habits are not contributing to pollution or adding to an un-sustainable environment.

control what we can

One of the ways we have control over what we buy and consume, is our clothing. In specific today I would like to highlight eco-friendly activewear. We are a more active population now, workouts, at home, outdoors, wherever you are doing it, is a part of our routine, or even if not, a part of the way we dress. Beautiful, seamless, dreamy activewear is a thing and definitely puts you in a different mood, wether motivating you for your movement or as cute athleisure.
